After brunch we all headed over to the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas next to the Riverwalk. It was fun to go through the place and touch nurse sharks and sting rays. We also saw a lot of fat animals, including penguins, sea otters, and a white alligator. At the end of the place there was a huge tank with humongous fishes, sharks, and sea turtles. It's a lot of fun doing kiddy things again. We then walked over to the IMAX theater next door and watched "Hurricane on the Bayou." The presentation was good but rather melodramatic because none of us realized most of the movie was going to focus on Hurricane Katrina. We all thought it'd be a nature-y movie about the wetlands.

Ashley took us on a second crawfish boil by Lake Pontchartrain after the aquarium. The potatoes and corn were delicious. After eating we sat by the lake and enjoyed the sunset and had some interesting conversation when we were looking at David Beckham's underwear ads.

We planned on going to Republic, but then most people ended up staying in and hanging out. I baked the rest of my pie crust cookies, and I decided that it'd probably be more successful if I made them dumpling style. They still tasted really good, especially with my Ben and Jerry's Mission to Marzipan ice cream.
